Northern NSW Printer & Photocopier Sales, Service & Repairs

Printer and photocopier repairs, contract servicing, refurbished and new machines, installation and toner across Northern NSW, from Tweed Heads and Kingscliff to Byron Bay, Ballina and Lismore. Every major brand.

Northern NSW

Northern NSW sits right on the border of the Gold Coast, where our technicians work every day, so the Tweed, Byron, Ballina and Lismore areas are covered for everything we do: repairs, contract servicing with toner included, new machines, refurbished and renewed copiers, and installs and relocations.

Whether it is one printer in a practice or several copiers across a business, the service is the same: one number, a charge confirmed before anyone is sent, and any part or further work quoted before it goes ahead.

What we do in Northern NSW

Buying a copier in Northern NSW

We supply new machines from every major brand, installed and serviced by our technicians in Northern NSW and paid for monthly through our finance partner or outright. We supply some of Australia's leading brands, Toshiba, Kyocera and HP among many others, and we source anything else to order. If a new machine is more than you need, we also have refurbished and renewed copiers, checked and serviced before they leave our shed.

Refurbished and secondhand copiers in Northern NSW

A machine that has come off a contract and been through our workshop does the same job as a new one for a fraction of the money, and we deliver and install them in Northern NSW ourselves. That covers Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South, Banora Point, Kingscliff, Pottsville and the towns around them. Every one is checked and serviced before it leaves us, and we tell you its condition when we quote.

In the price

Delivery, installation and training, set up on your network with your people shown how to use it. Stairs are quoted with the job.

Rental

Available over 24, 36, 48 months on a secondhand machine, through our finance partner. Ask and we will show you that against buying it outright.

What we have

Toshiba, Kyocera, Ricoh, HP, Canon and Fujifilm A3 machines, some on the floor and some brought in from another warehouse.

Refurbished range

We only sell a used machine where we can get to it and service it, which is South East Queensland out to Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Northern New South Wales, Sunshine Coast, Gympie. Outside that we supply new machines Australia wide instead.

What we get called out for in Northern NSW

What we are called to in Northern NSW is not the same mix as everywhere else. Of the machines we are booked to here, Brother accounts for about 27 in every 100, HP about 23 and Kyocera about 21. The faults below are the ones that bring us out, whatever the badge on the front.

Most office machine problems fall into a handful of patterns. These are the ones we see most often.

Jamming that started when nothing changed

Feed rollers and separation pads wear smooth gradually and then cross a line. The paper is the same paper, and suddenly the machine picks up two sheets or none. It is a wear part, and one of the cheaper repairs on a copier.

Marks on the page that repeat

If a mark appears at the same interval down every page, something round is causing it: a drum, a roller or the fuser. The spacing tells a technician which one before the covers come off.

Faded, patchy or drifting colour

When new toner does not fix it, the cause is usually calibration, the developer or the transfer unit. Replacing cartridges rarely helps and often costs more than the repair.

Error codes that come back

A code that clears on a restart and stays gone was probably a glitch. One that returns is the machine reporting something real, and it will not fix itself.

Scan to email that has stopped

Almost always the network rather than the machine. Mail server changes, new passwords and security updates all break scanning, and the fix is usually a settings change rather than a part.

Finisher, stapler and sorter faults

The finisher does the most physical work on a multifunction machine, so it is often the first part to give trouble. These faults are mechanical and repairable.

Grinding, rattling or a slow warm up

Noise during a print run, or warm up times creeping up, usually warns of a mechanical part or the fuser on its way out. Worth a look before it becomes a bigger failure.

Dropped off the network

The machine has stopped responding to one computer, or to everyone. Drivers, IP addresses and firmware updates are the usual causes, and many are fixed remotely.

If what your machine is doing is not on the list, it does not mean it cannot be fixed. Describe it when you call.

How a service call works

  1. Tell us the faultMake, model and what the machine is doing. A photo of any error on the screen helps.
  2. Charge confirmedWe confirm the attendance charge when you book, before anyone is sent.
  3. Diagnosed on siteThe technician finds the cause and fixes what can be fixed on the visit.
  4. Nothing extra without a yesAny part or further work is quoted to you before it goes ahead.

Common questions

Which machines do you get called to most in Northern NSW?

On our own bookings, Brother is the brand we are called to most in Northern NSW, about 27 in every 100 jobs, then HP at about 23. The rest are spread across Kyocera, Epson, Fujifilm and others. We service every major brand, so a mixed office is normal work.

Which suburbs and towns around Northern NSW do you attend?

The ones we are booked into most around Northern NSW are Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Tweed Heads South, Casuarina, Terranora, Banora Point, Chinderah, Bilambil Heights. That is not the whole list. If you cannot see yours, call us and we will tell you straight away whether we can attend, and contract servicing runs across the same ground.

Do you repair every brand of printer and copier in Northern NSW?

Yes. We service all the major brands, including Toshiba, Kyocera, HP, Canon, Ricoh, Brother, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Fujifilm, Xerox, Epson, Lexmark and OKI.

Will I know the cost before the work is done?

Yes. We confirm the attendance charge when you book, and any part or further work is quoted to you before it goes ahead.

Do you come to us, or does the machine come to you?

We come to you. Almost everything is done on site with the machine where it stands. A machine only leaves if the work cannot be done in place, and we would tell you that first.

Can you supply a refurbished copier in Northern NSW?

Yes. Refurbished and renewed copiers are available in Northern NSW, delivered and installed by us, alongside new machines from every major brand.

Is it worth repairing an older machine?

Often, for a business copier. Most faults are wear parts rather than the end of the machine. The better question is whether parts are still available for that model, and we will give you an honest view rather than an automatic yes.

Can you look at a machine that is under someone else's contract?

Yes. If the service is already included in an agreement you pay for, we will tell you that rather than let you pay twice.

I am on a DSA contract. How do I get a technician?

Log the call in the customer portal on this site. Give us the machine number off the DSA sticker and it goes straight to our service desk against that machine.
