From today until 28 February 2027, every Kyocera machine in our shop is listed at what we pay for it, plus GST and the card fee. The same goes for the genuine Kyocera toner and waste toner boxes that fit those machines, and for every Kyocera accessory we list: 36 machines, 44 toners and waste toner boxes, and 34 accessories, from compact A4 printers to A3 colour multifunctions.
Why at cost
We would rather more offices tried us. Kyocera is one of the three ranges we quote from most, with Toshiba and HP, and its ECOSYS machines are designed so that, in normal use, toner is the main thing you replace. That makes them a good place to start. On an order at cost we make nothing on the item itself. What we hope to earn is your next order, and an honest review if we looked after you well.
What ECOSYS means for running costs
Most of the Kyocera printers and multifunctions in our shop carry Kyocera's ECOSYS name, which Kyocera says stands for Economy, Ecology and Systems and goes back to 1992. The drum that puts the image on the page is a long life part kept apart from the toner, so in normal use you replace the toner rather than a whole cartridge with a new drum built into it.
How long Kyocera expects those parts to last
In March 2026 Kyocera put a number on how long it expects those parts to last. For the ECOSYS PA4500x, an A4 printer rated at up to 45 pages a minute, it began offering a ten year warranty on the drum unit, the developer unit and the charging roller, which it calls LongLife Units, as long as the printer is registered online within six months of purchase and runs on Kyocera's own toner for that model. That warranty is for printers sold by Kyocera in Germany and Austria, so it does not cover a machine bought here. It does show how much life Kyocera expects from those parts. The PA4500x is one of the 36 Kyocera machines in our shop at cost.
Which Kyocera suits your office
- A4 printers, the ECOSYS PA range. Print only, in black and white or colour, for a desk or a small team.
- A4 multifunctions, the ECOSYS MA range. Print, copy and scan in one compact machine, in black and white or colour. For an office that never needs anything larger than A4, start here.
- Compact A3 colour multifunctions, the ECOSYS M8124cidn and M8130cidn. A3 and A4 in a machine that still suits a smaller office, for anyone printing plans, posters or A3 reports. They are with our other A3 machines.
- An A3 black and white multifunction, the ECOSYS MZ3201ix. Print, copy and scan on A3 and A4, for an office that needs A3 but prints in black and white. See the MZ3201ix.
- A3 black and white printers, the ECOSYS P4060dn and P4140dn. For busy black and white printing on A3 and A4.
- An A3 colour printer, the ECOSYS P8060cdn. Print only, in colour and black and white, on A3 and A4, for a busy department that prints a lot of colour.
Every Kyocera machine page shows what it costs to run on genuine toner at our price, at Kyocera's rated yield. Compare that as well as the price of the machine: over the life of a busy office printer, toner and servicing can cost more than the machine itself.
How ordering works
Toner and waste toner boxes can be ordered and paid for online in our Kyocera shop. A machine order comes to us first: delivery is quoted with the order, and we confirm it with you before anything is sent. In South East Queensland the machine is delivered and set up by trained technicians, and elsewhere in Australia it is sent to you. If you would rather not buy outright, ask us about a rental instead, which is subject to our finance partner's approval; the options are on our rental, lease and finance page.
