Photocopier and printer servicing in Brisbane

Planned servicing for the copiers and printers your office depends on, so the fault that would have stopped it never gets the chance. On site across Brisbane, every major brand, with a service agreement if you want one.

A service is not a repair

A repair answers a fault. A service is planned work on a machine that is still printing: the paper path cleaned, the wear parts checked against their page counts, and the things that are starting to drift put right before they become a jam, a streak or a panel code on a Monday morning. Most copiers we are called to in Brisbane have had no attention since the day they were installed, and most of their breakdowns were visible coming.

If the machine has already stopped, that is a repair, and it is covered on our Brisbane printer and photocopier repairs page.

What a Brisbane service visit covers

  • The paper path, rollers and separation pads cleaned and checked for wear
  • Life parts read against their page counts: fuser, drum, developer, transfer belt, maintenance kit
  • Optics, the scanner glass and the document feeder cleaned, so copies and scans come out clean
  • Firmware checked, and scan to email and folders tested with your network as it is now
  • Test prints and copies from every tray, and the finisher run if you have one
  • The meter reading taken and the visit logged against the machine

A3 photocopier service

A3 multifunction copiers are the machines we service most, and they are the ones where planned servicing pays for itself: high page counts, colour, finishers, paper decks, and a whole office waiting on one machine. Toshiba e-STUDIO makes up most of the fleet we look after on contract, and we service the other A3 ranges Brisbane offices run as well.

Each brand wears in its own way and reports it in its own codes. The brand pages set out what we see on each, and what the codes on the panel mean.

Photocopier service agreements in Brisbane

A service agreement puts the servicing, the repairs and the toner under one arrangement, billed from the pages you actually print. Most machines email us their meter readings each month on their own; for the rest we send a reminder, and a reading can be sent from the customer portal by scanning the sticker on the machine. Toner is ordered the same way and sent to the address on file for that machine.

Brisbane is where our service desk sits, so it is where most of our agreements run. The whole arrangement is set out on our managed print services page, and machines you already own can go on it if they are in good order.

Maintenance kits and life parts

Copiers are built around parts that are meant to be replaced at a page count, and fitting them on time is most of what keeps a machine running for years. Kyocera replaces its drum, developer and fuser as a maintenance kit and says Replace MK on the panel when one is due. Lexmark shows 80 Scheduled maintenance. The colour e-STUDIO, bizhub and imageRUNNER ADVANCE machines count down their drums and developers. A service visit fits these before they fail, rather than after.

Trained and certified technicians

All our technicians are trained and certified. Every visit is booked through one service desk and logged against the machine, so the next technician to see it knows what the last one did.

Common questions

What is the difference between a service and a repair?

A repair answers a fault that has already stopped the machine. A service is planned work on a machine that is still running: cleaning, wear parts at their page count and a check of everything that is starting to drift, so the fault never happens.

How often should an office photocopier be serviced?

It depends on the pages it prints, not the calendar. Most copiers count their own pages and flag their wear parts, and on a service agreement the meter readings the machine sends each month tell us when a visit is due.

Do you service A3 photocopiers in Brisbane?

Yes. A3 multifunction copiers are most of what we service, from the CBD out to Ipswich, Logan, the Redlands and Moreton Bay, including the finishers, paper decks and fax and scan setups that come with them.

What does a photocopier service agreement include?

Servicing and repairs on one number, toner included and ordered from the customer portal, and billing from the meter readings the machine sends, so you pay for the pages you actually print.

Can you service a copier we did not buy from you?

Yes. We service every major brand. If servicing is already included in an agreement you pay someone else for, we will tell you, rather than let you pay twice.

Are your technicians qualified?

All our technicians are trained and certified.
