Photocopier and printer servicing in Melbourne

Planned servicing for the copiers your Melbourne office relies on, done on site by our local technician, so the wear that would have stopped the machine is dealt with first. Every major brand, with a service agreement if you want one.

Why plan a service

Plenty of office copiers were bought outright or came off a lease, and since then nobody has been responsible for them until they stop. A planned service changes that: the machine is cleaned, its wear parts are read against their page counts, and what is starting to drift is put right before it turns into a jam, a streak or a code on the panel.

If the machine has already stopped, that is a repair, and it is on our Melbourne printer and photocopier repairs page.

On a Melbourne service visit

  • Rollers, separation pads and the paper path cleaned and checked for wear
  • Drum, developer, fuser, transfer belt and maintenance kit read against their page counts
  • Scanner glass, optics and the document feeder cleaned for clean copies and scans
  • Firmware checked, and scan to email and to folders tested on your network as it stands
  • Test pages from every tray, and the finisher run if one is fitted
  • The meter read and the visit logged against the machine

The copiers we service in Melbourne

A3 multifunction copiers are where planned servicing pays for itself: high page counts, colour, finishers and a whole office waiting on one machine. In Melbourne that means Konica Minolta bizhub more than any other brand, and every other A3 range offices here run.

Service agreements in Melbourne

A service agreement puts the servicing, the repairs and the toner under one arrangement, billed from the pages you actually print. Most machines email their meter readings to us each month on their own; for the rest we send a reminder, and a reading can be sent from the customer portal by scanning the sticker on the machine.

Toner is ordered through the portal and sent to the address on file for that machine, included in the agreement with freight charged on each delivery. Visits are made by our local technician, and parts are shipped to your office ahead of the visit. The full arrangement is on our managed print services page, and machines you already own can go on it if they are in good order.

Life parts, counted by page

Every copier is built around parts meant to be replaced at a page count, and fitting them on time is what keeps a machine running for years. On a bizhub that means the drum and developing units; a Kyocera asks for its MK maintenance kit by name; a Lexmark shows Scheduled maintenance; an e-STUDIO keeps count of its fuser. A service visit fits them before they fail.

Trained and certified technicians

All our technicians are trained and certified. Every Melbourne visit is booked through one service desk and logged against the machine, so the next visit starts where the last one finished.

Across Melbourne

We service machines on site across the CBD and inner suburbs, the east, the south east and bayside, the north and the west, booked on (03) 8538 1600. The full list of areas is on our Melbourne page.

Common questions

What is the difference between a service and a repair?

A repair answers a fault that has already stopped the machine. A service is planned work on a machine that is still running, so the fault never gets the chance.

How often should a Melbourne office copier be serviced?

By the pages it prints rather than the calendar. Most copiers count their own pages and flag their wear parts, and on an agreement the meter readings the machine sends tell us when a visit is due.

Do you service Konica Minolta bizhub copiers in Melbourne?

Yes. bizhub is the brand we are booked to most in Melbourne, and we service the C224 and C364 generations through to the i series, with their finishers and paper decks.

What does a service agreement include?

Servicing and repairs on one number, toner included and ordered from the customer portal with freight charged on each delivery, and billing from the meter readings the machine sends.

Can you service a copier we did not buy from you?

Yes. We service every major brand. If servicing is already included in an agreement you pay someone else for, we will tell you, rather than let you pay twice.

Are your technicians qualified?

All our technicians are trained and certified.
