Contact us

The quickest way to reach us depends on what you need.

Service desk

Contract customers can also email the service desk at support@documentservices.com.au. The quickest route is the customer portal, which puts the job straight on the board against your machine.

Where to call us

Four local numbers and one national one, and the same service desk behind every one of them. Whichever you ring reaches the same people and the same job board, and a technician is assigned in your own city.

Tap a city to read what we do there. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. A local number is a local number, not a separate office: one desk books every one of them, and the technician who attends is in your city.

Where we cover

One number, one service desk, and technicians across the country. Every region on the map is booked through that one desk and onto the same job board, so a call is logged the same way, and answered for by the same company, wherever your office is.

What to have ready when you call

None of it is essential, and the service desk will find it if you have not got it, but the call is shorter if you do.

  • The machine number off the DSA sticker on the front of the machine, if it is one of ours. That alone brings up the machine, its history and who last worked on it.
  • The make and model otherwise, which is printed on the front or the top.
  • What it is actually doing, in your words. A code on the screen, a mark on the page, a noise, a jam in the same place every time. A photograph of the screen or of a bad print says more than a description and you can send it after the call.
  • Where the machine is, if your business has more than one site or more than one floor.
  • Whether it has stopped, or is still usable. That is what decides the order of the day.

Which route is quickest

On a DSA agreementThe customer portal. It puts the job straight on the board against your machine, with no retyping and nothing to describe twice.
Machine has stoppedPhone. A stopped machine is not an email.
No contract with usBook a repair. Any brand, no agreement needed, and the attendance charge is confirmed when you book.
Toner or partsThe shop, or the portal if your agreement includes it (freight is charged).
Buying or renting a machineAsk for a quote and tell us roughly what you print. We size the machine to that rather than to a price list.
Something elsePhone or email. A person answers, not a menu.

What happens after you call

A person, then a technician

A reception desk in front of a wall lit in the DSA brand colours, the Document Services Australia mark on it
One company behind the number, whichever office you are near.
Someone at the service desk in a headset with a laptop open, a copier behind them
The service desk takes the call and logs it against your machine.
A technician walking into a client reception carrying a service case
A technician is assigned and you are told who is coming.
A technician kneeling at an open copier with the colour toner units exposed
Most faults are fixed on the first visit, because the common parts travel in the van.
